Feature Usage

Feature usage is a category of engagement metrics that focus on user behavior toward a specific product function, as opposed to the product as a whole. Feature usage can cover a relatively wide range of metrics, including:

  • Percentage of use: How many users out of the total number of users use it
  • Frequency of usage: How frequent it is used in a time frame (daily, weekly, or monthly)
  • Average time between recurrent usage: How long users take to use the feature again
  • Average Time Spent: Average time spent using the feature
